GLOSTER - First Africa, then Indonesia - branches in the USA, England and Germany: Gloster has traveled far. The company, which was founded by a group of passionate furniture makers, has its roots in West Africa in 1960. Around 10 years later - in the early 1970s - the production facility is relocated to Indonesia, buoyed by the increasing demand for quality outdoor furniture . Here a separate teak plantation could be connected to the factory, which still exists today. Gloster can be considered one of the pioneers in the use of sustainably cultivated raw materials.
